Nominations are now open for MTAF Awards 2019. The awards will celebrate young people and recognise the positive influence they can have upon their peers, as well as the outstanding contribution they can make to their communities, be they local, national or international.
The awards are open to everyone who lives and studies in the UK. Awards will be given out in six categories that cover outstanding individuals, volunteers, Academics and community groups.
This year, the awards are being delivered in partnership between MTAF, Community Bank, Show Africa Magazine and Volunteer Centre to recognise the true breadth of outstanding individuals and groups in the community.
Launching the awards, the founder and CEO of the Miss Teen Africa organisation, Yomi Adegoke, said: “The MTAF Awards are the perfect way to recognise the individuals especially young women who go above and beyond to make a positive difference in their community and also excelling in their subject of interest.
“This year we want to celebrate your unsung heroes and make sure they get the recognition they deserve, so if you’ve never considered nominating before this is your year!
“Let us know and encourage the stars of the future by nominating them today.”
